The heterogeneity of our users, both for the degree of autonomy achieved which, due to the social-cognitive-relational abilities possessed, led to the desire to propose a model that would take into account the different departures of each child and the different points of arrival to which our interventions must reach.
The Academy of Autonomy was born as a response to the need to promote the autonomous and independent life of people with disabilities. The academy provides within the same various courses aimed at acquiring and strengthening Autonomies. The courses are distinguished by age groups, degree of autonomy owned, and type of disability, to preserve the harmonic growth of the individual taken in charge.

The “Academy of Autonomy online ” project was born from the need to actively respond to the Covid-19 emergency by offering remote educational services for people with disabilities, unable to reach the centers and continue their previous educational path. The project plans to offer distance learning accessible and personalized even for intellectual disabilities, thanks to interactive models of training and didactic material, training for professionals, and parenting support.
