PASS4Autism is a project co-financed by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme.
The project, which has a duration of two years (2023-2025), is coordinated by the Asociacion de Padres de personas with Autismo de Burgos (Spain), in collaboration with Cooperativa Controvento, Child and Adolescent Center (Greece), The University of Peloponnese (Greece) and AVN Innovative Technology Solutions Limited (Cyprus).

The main objective of PASS4AUTISM will be the creation of social and visual stories, using artificial intelligence as a key tool.
This innovative approach aims to develop personalised resources to improve the understanding and communication of people with autism.
The project aims to provide practical and accessible solutions to support people with autism and their families.

The aim of the project is to accompany parents in the creation and use of visual and social stories to enhance the social skills of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, in order to:

  • minimize the negative impact of the diagnosis on the family;
  • train parents to create personalized treatment based on the child's individual needs 
  • offer parents and children the chance to be active citizens in their local communities;

What are visual stories?


They are short stories with images and/or short texts that describe social situations and how to respond and behave in specific situations (Gray, 2002, Sani-Bozkurt, 2017).
